Our Otey Sun Chaise recalls a vintage sun chaise from a classic Virginia pool. Antique inspired, the Otey chassis and wheels are cutting edge modern and performance driven. Our lofted-cut signature crest rail with compound mitered cuts on the shoulders crowns a complex back design inspired by Chinoiserie fretwork. The Otey demands technical expertise from our Master Craftspeople.

Handcrafted in high-performance aluminum, coated in any of our 27 finish colors.

Important Features

The highly complex Otey Yoke (shares the same as Buie) is hand carved from a solid piece of aluminum.
Front and back legs are dual tapered and left/right specific.
Rear legs have a complex multi radii bend.
Tapered seat.
The arm is hand shaped and technically bent in two directions requiring great attention to detail.
The back features our lofted-cut signature yoke with a sensual compound curved cut in two directions.
The frame and back are finished and blended by hand.
Varying thicknesses and transitions add depth and complexity to the frame.

Otey Sun Chaise feet have replaceable, non-adjustable surface protectors (glides) made from a high performance polymer.

Outdoor Furniture Cushions

Cushions for the Otey collection have welting. Seat and back cushions are box construction cushions.

C.O.M. yardage indicated above is based on 54" (1.4m) wide plain goods. Please speak with your sales representative regarding C.O.M. calculations for multiple pieces and/or C.O.M. with repeats.
High Performance Outdoor Furniture Cushions in a selection of Italian Performance Fabrics are included in the Beginning At price. Your fabric selection may modify the final price.
Our High Performance Cushion interior is a dacron wrapped reticulated foam core which allows moisture to pass through and will never hold water like a sponge.
Our High Performance Furniture Cushions are designed to stay outdoors and will hold their shape over time and will not pack down.
Seat and ottoman cushions in all McKinnon and Harris textiles and C.O.M. are made with a vinyl open weave mesh underside which releases moisture and allows the cushions to dry more quickly.
Our High Performance Cushions are sewn with the PTFE threads, the same threads used by America’s Cup Yachts. Unaffected by exposure to UV rays, harsh cleaning agents, pollution, saltwater, rain, snow, cold and rot.

Otey Sun Chaise seat cushions have snap ties to secure the cushion to the furniture frame. Snap ties for back cushions are optional for an additional charge and are recommended for windy locations.

Protective Covers

A custom fit Protective Cover is available. Please specify CVR-2011A.

Protective Covers are custom fitted and made from a breathable, water repellent High Performance Marine Protective Fabric made of 100% solution dyed acrylic with a soft tricot polyester underside.
Protective Covers for our outdoor estate furniture are not recommended in high wind areas.
Protective Covers are designed to be used with the custom outdoor cushions in place.
