Tappahannock Green

Tappahannock Green

This stately green is named for the oldest town in Essex County, Virginia whose name comes from an Algonquian word meaning “where the tide ebbs and flows.” The color recalls the richness of Magnolia Grandiflora in deep shadow, a tree that is the epitome of Southern grace and charm.
