Outdoor spaces are playing a starring role at the Third Annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Palm Beach and we could not be more thrilled to be included by our uberchic clients in three of the five remarkable exterior settings. The custom home built by Lars Bolander and Nadine Kaalachnikoff is open to the public through March 1, 2020 and jointly benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County and the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in NYC.
Mario Nievera and Keith Williams, the talented duo behind Nievera Williams in Palm Beach, designed the main garden and grounds. Inspired by the Mughal Garden Style, the Nievera Williams team transformed the wild island-style landscape into a manicured garden retreat. Our brand new Virginia Bench with Manwaring Back made its debut in the garden alongside several of our classic duVal Sun Chaises and Club Chairs with Moorish Backs.
Loggias and cabanas provide intimate garden retreats within the landscape. Colette van den Thillart of Colette van den Thillart Interior Design in Toronto designed the outdoor Dining Terrace. Instead of opting for a formal dining table, van den Thillart created a laid back dining lounge pairing our duVal-Alexander Sofa with Persian Star Back with low tables. Our Suhling Side Table offers a secure place to set drinks while our Spotswood Pier Table provides plenty of serving space for casual picnic-style buffets.
Nashville-based Jonathan Savage of Savage Interior Design brought The Cabana Pavilion near the pool to life. Savage’s Cabana Hideway is a welcome retreat inspired by travels to the French West-Indies that encourages guests to feel like they are truly on an island getaway. Our Couper Club Chairs, Wyatt Side Table, and Inverlussa Palm Boxes fit right in with Savage’s posh surfer vibes.
